This detached & renovated 2-bed home has a manageable garden and plenty of parking. It is situated on the edge of the pretty village of L’Hermenault. With a good range of shops as well as a public swimming pool you have everything you need on the doorstep, as well as the main attractions of the Vendée close by.
The house has plenty of character features. The lovely blue shutters give the house a very french feel and once inside, the exposed stone walls, wood-burning stove and wooden beams make the house feel cool in summer, but really warm and cozy in winter.

L’Hermenault is a small, pretty village with a surprising number of services given its size. There is a public school, private school, post office, public swimming pool, hairdressers, bakery, corner shop, café, mini-mart and a take-away pizza van that comes round every Friday.
The village also has a stunning castle and mediaeval lavoirs. Many other traditional and original buildings can be found in the village. The surrounding countryside is typically french and very beautiful. With sunflower fields, lakes, pine forests, if you’re looking for outdoor activities, this is a good base! There is plenty of horse-riding, wonderful walking and cycling trails, swimming and boating in nearby lakes and rivers. Fishing is also a common pastime in this area.
The beautiful 15 Fontenay-le-Comte is just 15mins away and La Rochelle on the coast is just an hour’s drive. This is a great spot to explore.
